From a price pitch on a rented subdomain to a talent-first brand.
Dezign Assist places university-educated designers, trained to luxury standards, inside interior design firms full-time. NOUX rebuilt the brand, the site, and the operations behind it — moving the pitch from “$12.50 an hour” to the caliber of the talent.
The situation
Dezign Assist launched on a Squarespace trial subdomain (harp-helicon-wrt3.squarespace.com) with a template theme and a price-first pitch: “University Educated, Experienced Junior Designers for $12.50/hour.” The offer was real — every designer holds a 4-year design degree, has 4+ years of experience, and is vetted and trained by Alder & Tweed, one of the largest luxury interior firms in the United States — but the presentation undersold it. Cost led every headline, the template didn’t match the pedigree, and there was no custom domain, no metadata, no search presence, and no clear path from “interesting” to “book a call.”
What we did
A repositioning from price to pedigree, carried through a new site at dezignassist.com: a talent-led narrative (“Grow your firm. Without the growing pains.”), a proper domain, full search and social metadata, and clear paths for firms (Book a Call) and candidates (Our Designers). The site now leads with the Alder & Tweed training pipeline, a three-step 14-day onboarding, and a named designer profile — with price landing last, as a consequence of the model rather than the pitch.
